Research in every field is the demand of the day. Progress in any field is directly linked with research. The author has been connected with Educational Research for more than a decade now and she has observed that students often express that there is no good comprehensive book on Research in Education. This encouraged the author for writing this book for M.Ed., M.Phil and research scholars. The book consists of 14 chapters which will prove to be beneficial for the students.

About the Author

Dr. Dipti Pinakin Bhatt is an Assistant Professor in JG College of Education (PG), Ahmedabad. She has obtained her M.Sc, M.Ed. and M.Phil from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and has acquired her doctorate in the field of Education from IGNOU, New Delhi. She has been using different innovative techniques in the teaching of Science. The author has taught the subject of science in schools and as a former principal of J.G. College of Primary Education, Ahmedabad, she had trained the teachers for six years and also taught Educational Psychology, School Management and Administration, Methodology of Science Teaching and Educational Technology. She has presented 15 papers in state, national and international seminars, written different articles for recognized journals and has also prepared self-instructional materials, IED awareness material, DEP Pamphlet, Action research module, Teleconference material for Teaching of English, Video training manual, outperformed as an anchor and resource person in teleconferencing. Her expertise in the subject is reflected in the book.
